Vultures to the rescue- The Cleanup Crew, is a delightfully illustrated children’s book, which aims to teach children the important role vultures play in our environment and disabuse them of negative stereotypes about Vultures.

The book tells the story of the efforts of a young Princess Nkasire to get the Vultures to return to her village.

Her village has been blighted by illness caused by the rotten carcasses of dead animals which contaminate water, air and soil, due to the absence of vultures that had been driven away by the villagers, because they believed them to be ugly and evil birds.

The book follows her efforts to get the Vultures, known as the 'clean up crew' to return to her village to save the village from further disaster.

The book further engages the young readers and tests their understanding of the story and of Vultures through some activities like cross word puzzles, word search and a few others.
