It was inspired by our quest to get kids to ‘unplug’ and give their devices a break, bond with their family members, play outside, play sports, play cards, board games, do chores , discover the earth etc. Studies show excess screen-time leads to an increase in cortisol levels (stress hormones), which can lead to health problems such as childhood obesity, anxiety and depression.
