This lecture series is based on the book Al-Bidaya Wal Nihaya written by Ibn Kathir and goes into the depths of the stories of the prophets. From Adam (alayhl was salam) until Issa (alayhi we salam). Learn about these great men who were chosen by Allah, to guide and deliver the message of Islam to their people whilst going through many trials and tribulations, yet they still remained firm and called others to enjoin good, forbid evil and to believe in the oneness of Allah. Shaykh Shady Alsuleiman was born in Sydney, Australia from a Palestinian family who migrated to Australia in the late 60’s.

At an early age of 16, Shaykh Shady had a desire to seek knowledge In the Islamic world. This desire took him to Pakistan where he spent the next 2 years studying and memorizing the Qur’an. There he obtained an Ijaza with sanad (complete chain back to the Prophet SAWS) in complete memorization of the Qur’an. Shaykh Shady then traveled to Damascus – Syria to continue his studies at numerous Islamic Institutions by many well-recognized scholars.

In Syria, he specialized in Arabic and Comparative Fiqh (Islamic Law/Jurisprudence) and received numerous Ijaza’s in Fiqh, Usul Al-Fiqh, Hadith and other Islamic sciences. Shaykh Shady returned to Sydney 8 years later and commenced his daw’ah to the community in Sydney. From a 10 person study circle, his lectures grew and grew in numbers and now by the will of Allah hundreds of youth attend his lectures on a weekly basis. Shaykh Shady is also an internationally recognized speaker, giving regular talks at conferences held in the UK, NZ & other countries.
