A series of personal reminiscences by Gwilym Thomas, a freelance journalist who joined the Farmers' Union of Wales in 1964 as their Public Relations Officer and Editor of the Union's monthly journal. After his retirement as Director of Public Relations he continued as Editor of the journal until his final retirement in 2002 - a total of 38 years service.
